2.1 Information you provide directly (via chatbot)

When you use the Ask Woofy chatbot to book an appointment, we collect:

• Your name
• Your contact number
• Your pet's species, name, and age
• The service you are requesting and any issue summary you provide

This information is transmitted directly to our WhatsApp number (+91 85500 46444) when you click "Submit & Connect on WhatsApp". We do not store this data on our own servers.

2.2 Pet health questions (Ask Woofy AI)

When you use the "Ask a Health Question" feature, your question and the conversation history are sent to a secure Cloudflare Worker proxy, which forwards them to Google's Gemini AI API for generating a response. We do not permanently store your health questions. Google's data handling is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

2.3 Usage data collected automatically

We use the following third-party tools that automatically collect data when you visit our website:

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — collects anonymised data about pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate location. Property ID: G-93Q1BJ43Y5.
• Google Ads Remarketing — enables us to show relevant ads to past visitors. Conversion ID: AW-16776347162.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) — tracks page visits and actions (booking intent, contact) to enable targeted advertising. Pixel ID: 809094098153405.
• Google Tag Manager (GTM) — container that manages all tracking tags. Container ID: GTM-P2VFP6XG.

• To process and confirm appointment bookings via WhatsApp
• To provide AI-generated general pet health information via Ask Woofy
• To understand how visitors use our website and improve our services (analytics)
• To show relevant advertisements on Google and Meta platforms (remarketing)
• To communicate with you regarding your booking or enquiry

We process your personal data on the following grounds under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and applicable law:

• Consent — for analytics, advertising, and AI health queries (implied by use of the website and chatbot)
• Legitimate interest — to operate and improve our services
• Contractual necessity — to fulfil appointment bookings

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

We do not store appointment data on our own servers — it is transmitted directly to WhatsApp. Analytics and advertising data is retained by Google and Meta in accordance with their respective data retention policies. AI conversation data is not stored beyond the active session.
